The Lonny Breaux Collection is an unofficial compilation of songs by Frank Ocean. The songs were recorded prior to adoption of the Frank Ocean moniker, there for attributed to Christopher 'Lonny' Breaux. As a songwriter and scratch vocalist, Breaux recorded a large number of demos that were leaked out over time and collected by fans on the KanyeToThe forum. Notable tracks include “Surprise Ending” and “Quickly”, were commercially released by Brandy and John Legend respectively.įollowing the release of the collection, Frank said: Not all of the songs included were written by Frank and not all of the songs are sung by Frank. the only songs that i, myself, frank ocean, have ever released are…’pyrite’, ‘acura integurl’ & of course the songs included on ‘nostalgia, ultra’.
all other songs are on the internet as a result of record industry email hacks/leaks that happened some years back. several of these songs i had no hand in writing. I only laid reference vox on em because i was being paid.
